You should hear a chime and see sweeping lights on the GPS Angel when you use it in your car AND connect it to your computer.

If You Don't See Lights When Connected In Your Car

1. Make sure that your car ignition is on.
2. Make sure the cigarette lighter power adapter is pushed in far enough into your cigarette lighter plug - a small green light on the power adapter will be lit if is.
3. Make sure the "plug" end of the power cable is pushed FIRMLY into the side of the GPS Angel.
4. Make sure the flat end of the cable is pushed firmly into the cigarette lighter power adapter.

If You Don't See Lights When Connected To Your PC

1. Make sure that your computer is on.
   
2. Make sure the "plug" end of the power cable is pushed FIRMLY into the side of the GPS Angel.
3. Make sure the flat end of the cable is pushed firmly into a USB port on your computer.
4. Try different USB ports and avoid using a USB "extender" hub.
